These are ghosts that are born of a person's fear after dying in a terrifying way. The Buruburu infect people who have made a habit of terrorizing other people, and they do this with their fear- this infection is known as Ghost Sickness. [Ghost sickness can lead to heart failure]

Because their attributes are that of a ghost, they can easily be destroyed like a ghost. This is salting and burning the corpse, but what is particularly special about this type of ghost is that [fire beats fire] fear, can kill fear itself.
